A Family of Builders
The Elmore family is built on a legacy of craftsmanship, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Scott and Stacy Elmore, alongside their sons, Harrison and Brendan, are second and third-generation builders whose business journey has been fueled by hard work, vision, and family values.
Scott, a lifelong builder and second-generation contractor, learned the trades from his father, a builder in New Castle, Indiana. With a career spanning decades in home improvement sales, training, and construction, Scott has accumulated an unmatched depth of industry knowledge. His expertise—described by his family as “too numerous to list”—laid the foundation for The Luxury Pergola’s success.
Stacy, with a background in healthcare administration and an MBA, transitioned into the family business, helping Scott grow SEE Home Improvements before founding The Luxury Pergola. She played a pivotal role in managing operations, logistics, and business development. SEE Home Improvements started in 2014 and in 2022 they transitioned to The Luxury Pergola and strictly pursued manufacturing from then on.
Their sons, Harrison and Brendan, initially pursued careers outside the family business. Both graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business—Harrison with degrees in Business Economics and Creative Writing, and Brendan in Operations Management and Entrepreneurship.
Before joining The Luxury Pergola, they worked in leadership roles at Amazon, one of the world’s most customer-focused companies. Harrison managed Operations in Wisconsin and Denver, helping launch a cutting-edge robotics fulfillment center with his brother Brendan. Brendan, meanwhile, oversaw the launch of three one-million-square-foot fulfillment centers over four years and even had a short film screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014.
Despite their success, both brothers felt a pull back home. In 2018, they left Amazon to join the family business, bringing with them expertise in operations, logistics, and innovation.
The Elmores describe themselves as a family of “nerds” who thrive on new challenges—so working together was a natural next step.
From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leader
Scott and Stacy started SEE Home Improvements in 2014, initially focusing on general contracting, retractable awnings, and drop shades. They ran the business out of their home, working tirelessly—installing projects by day and handling operations and sales at night.
As demand grew, they moved into a storage unit, where Stacy herself operated a forklift to handle deliveries. The business’s rapid expansion led them to their first official workspace—2,500 square feet on Herriman Blvd. in Noblesville—where they hired two employees.
After two years of development, they engineered their first louvered pergola product.
By 2018, Harrison and Brendan saw the potential of the family business and decided to join, bringing fresh ideas and corporate-level operational expertise. They embraced the same grind-it-out mentality, working 12-hour days—eight hours installing and four hours managing operations, marketing, and sales.
Pioneering Pergola Kits & Rapid Growth
The pandemic presented both risks and opportunities, and The Luxury Pergola chose to double down on innovation. They took a bold leap, developing DIY pergola kits that allowed homeowners to install their own high-end pergolas.
In 2022, they made their first kit sale, marking a transformative shift for the company.
Their facilities grew alongside their business success:
- 2,500 sq. ft. on Herriman Blvd. in Noblesville
- 10,000 sq. ft. on Bergen Blvd in Noblesville
- 24,000 sq. ft. on Westfield Park Road in Westfield
- Now moving to a 64,000 sq. ft. facility in Washington Business Park, Noblesville
With this growth, the team expanded to include:
- Sales professionals
- Plant workers
- Marketing and video specialists
- Visual effects experts
- Inventory analysts
- Senior operations managers
- Production engineers and managers
Brendan started as the company’s sole salesperson for the kit product, but as the company grew, they added a sales team, marketing specialists, and engineering talent to refine their product offerings.

Commitment to Quality & Local Sourcing
From the beginning, The Luxury Pergola has been dedicated to engineering excellence and competitive advantage. They aggregate the best ideas in the industry to create a superior product, entirely Made in the USA.
A major part of their success comes from sourcing locally—whenever possible, they procure materials from Indiana-based suppliers, including some from Noblesville itself. This approach ensures:
- Hands-on quality control
- High-quality materials
- Strong relationships with suppliers

Their kits can be custom-sized to within a half-inch of precision, offering homeowners and businesses tailored outdoor solutions. The company is also expanding into complementary outdoor products to enhance the pergola experience.
Why Noblesville?
The Elmore family has enjoyed living in Noblesville for many years. Harrison and Brendan are graduates of Noblesville High School, and after their time at IU and Amazon, they chose to return home to live, work, and grow the family business. They tout Noblesville’s:
- Affordable cost of living
- Safety
- Small-town feel with big-city business opportunities
Beyond personal ties, the business climate in Noblesville has played a key role in their success. The Elmores praise the city for its business-friendly environment, easier permitting processes, and welcoming leadership.
Their move to Washington Business Park has been smooth, thanks to strong partnerships with Patch Development and city officials, whom they describe as great partners to work with.
The Future of The Luxury Pergola
Now operating out of a state-of-the-art 64,000 sq. ft. facility in Washington Business Park, The Luxury Pergola is poised for even greater success.
