Meet Sarah Davis
Economic Development Coordinator
- Years with the City of Noblesville:
- I have been with the City of Noblesville for one year.
- What was your first job and what lesson did you learn there that you brought with you to your current role?
- My first job was in sales for a promotional products company. I learned so much about relationship building, setting, and achieving goals as well as time management.
- What led you to your current role? (tell us about your education and/or background)
- After several years in promotional product sales, I went on to serve Noblesville Schools for 14 years. Working in Economic Development seemed like an exciting new opportunity where I can continue to challenge myself, further my career and serve my community.
I received my bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ball State University. I completed the Indiana Economic Development Course through Ball State University and I plan to attend the Oklahoma University Economic Development Institute.

- What is your role in the department and what would a person come to you about?
- I am the Administrative Manager for Economic Development. I support our team with administrative and operational duties. I primarily work on scheduling, agendas, contracts, documentation and communication with our governing bodies and business partners. I am so fortunate to work with an amazing team, where everyone is willing to jump in wherever there is a need.
- What do you like most about working in economic development?
- I enjoy meeting with business partners and developers to hear about the exciting projects that are coming to Noblesville. Our job is to make sure the project is a good fit for our community, as well as the company. I have been a proud Noblesville resident for 16 years and raising my family in this community. I am deeply passionate about making Noblesville one of the best places to work, play and live.
- Tell us about your community involvement.
- I currently serve as a board member for the Noblesville Youth Assistance Program. This program offers referrals for mental health counseling, parent support classes, mentoring, tutoring, recreation opportunities, financial assistance and so much more to our Noblesville families.
- What do you like to do in your spare time?
- My husband, Brad, I enjoy watching our two kids, Luke and Norah, participate in sports and other activities. We also enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.
- What concert do you have to see at Ruoff Music Center?
- I saw Janet Jackson earlier this summer, and I can’t wait to see Sam Hunt in July.

- What’s your go-to road trip snack?
- Sour punch straws, Sweet tarts and a fountain diet coke.
- What do you order at a coffee shop?
- I’m not a coffee drinker, so I would likely grab some sort of refresher or a hot chocolate.
- What’s your dream vacation?
- I would love to stay in an overwater bungalow/hut in Bora Bora. I also want to travel to the Greek Islands, especially Santorini. Every picture I see, of both places, looks like a postcard!
